This two-week Daily Math Skills Review pack includes mixed story problems, place value models, and addition and subtraction problems. The way I use these varies depending on the students. The slides are displayed on the panel while students show their work in their math journals for a daily grade. I have used them as morning work for students to complete independently and then remediate as needed in small groups. Use real or virtual dice to roll for your factors (groups and number in each group), then model and write the equation to match.

Embrace the spooky season with a spooky brew! Students will write a recipe that serves one, then use multiplication magic to write a recipe that will serve many. Activity can be completed independently or in small groups. Students could add illustrations on a separate piece of paper or create another creative representation. Consider mixing up any brews that sound extra tasty! For fourth or fifth grades, consider using unit conversions for a challenge.
