I am going in to my second year of teaching. Previously I taught in a resource room but now I have a self-contained autism room of high functioning behavior students.
Rather than have typical classroom job names, Leader in me requires that students possess leadership roles which benefit the classroom. These are the ones I rotate throughout the year.

supply manager(classroom organizer)

Transition planning meetings are packed meetings full of data, grade level performance, and discussions of placement. This form allows parents to take some time before the meeting to answer common questions teachers have without the pressure of everything else they must consider. It also provides teachers ways to connect with and learn about the student from a non-school perspective.
