Using Google Drive for the first time in your classroom? This scavenger hunt will lead students through the features and having them creating documents in no time. Scavenger hunt requires students to copy/paste, insert images/links, type text, and share their document with you through your email address.

These math worksheets follow a general pacing guide for 2nd grade, but could be used for lower level learners in intermediate grades or used as enrichment for younger primary students. You can also display them on the SmartBoard if you don’t want to waste paper, and have them write their answer in a math journal. Do whatever works best for you! This comprehension guide accompanies the book by Eileen Spinelli, Somebody Loves You Mr. Hatch. Students can do independently or as a whole group. Make sure that you only read the first 3 to 4 pages of the book before doing the first page. Then, students (or the teacher) can read the rest of the book. After that, students can complete the last two pages of the comprehension guide.

Using Google Drive and Google Docs, students will learn how to navigate through a Google Doc, research and answer questions on Thanksgiving traditions and history, and turn in their assignment electronically.
