This project asks students to create a social media (Instagram style) page for a Geometric shape. I have included both an online/electronic version of the project as well as a paper version. At the end of the PowerPoint presentation is my example of how the project might be completed along with the rubric used to grade the example project. Suggestions for ways to implement the project based on my experience with using it in class are included as well. The following are the slides included in

Teaching style

I really like to incorporate hands on activities that appeal to a variety of learning styles. Any activity that can be used in multiple ways earns bonus points in my book, and activities that students can work on by themselves are a huge plus. I incorporate a lot of bright colors into my activities to make them visually pleasing. I am also working on adding more technology to each of my projects to increase student buy-in.
