I am Kimberly Jones, a high school science teacher who enjoys combining Black culture with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).

My teaching style includes hands-on science experiments that connect historical events and figures to the curriculum.

I have been selected as a Champion for Children, receiving the Humanitarian Award from both state and local organizations. I have also been named Citizen of the Year and Woman of the Year.

My own education history

I hold a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences and a master's degree in Educational Leadership. I am currently a high school science teacher and have worked in the education system for 28 years.
