As a middle school teacher nestled in the beautiful hills of East Tennessee, I’ve had the joy of crafting my own lessons and units while also exploring two scripted curricula. Teaching is a journey, and I’m always on the lookout for ways to enhance my methods and make learning even more engaging for my students. One of the most rewarding parts of this adventure is creating materials that resonate with my students and sharing them with my wonderful colleagues. I follow the "I do, we do, ya'll do, you do," teaching model. I also emphasize the acquisition of and use of relevant text evidence.
