About the store
With nine years of teaching experience, I have dedicated my career to working with marginalized readers and writers, helping them build the confidence and skills needed to succeed. I understand that for many students, writing can feel overwhelming, and simply telling them to “just write” isn’t enough—they need to be shown how to write with clear, structured guidance. That’s why I create writing resources that provide a starting point, breaking down the writing process in a way that’s accessible for both students and teachers. While some may see it as formulaic at first, I believe structure is essential in helping students develop their own voices. My resources are designed to bridge the gap for teachers who struggle to teach writing in a way that is both practical and meaningful. Beyond structure, my teaching philosophy emphasizes real-world activities that help students develop valuable, transferable skills they can use beyond the classroom. My goal is to make writing engaging, relevant, and achievable—for both students and educators. Thank you for visiting my store! I hope my resources support you in creating a classroom where all students can grow as writers.

Teaching style

My approach to teaching is highly scaffolded because I believe in reaching as many students as possible and providing them with the tools they need to grow. Many students in advanced classes are not truly advanced yet, but they have the potential to be. To help them develop confidence and independence in their writing, I provide structured support through modeling, sentence stems, and step-by-step guidance. I am passionate about designing engaging, original materials that make writing both meaningful and enjoyable. I create activities from scratch that students find entertaining, and their enthusiasm and feedback inspire me to continue developing new resources. Writing should not feel like a chore, so I focus on making lessons that hold students' interest while strengthening their skills. My goal is to ensure that all students have access to high-quality writing instruction. I also strive to support teachers who may not feel confident teaching writing by providing resources that make the process clear, structured, and engaging for both educators and students.

My own education history

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Psychology, which has given me a strong foundation in language, analysis, and understanding how students learn. I also earned a Master’s in Education with a concentration in Reading and Literacy, allowing me to specialize in supporting struggling readers and writers. My background helps me create effective, research-based strategies that make writing instruction more accessible for all students.
