About the store
I am a dually certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with over 10 years of experience supporting children and families. My career began in child care, non-profits, and hospital settings. I discovered my passion for working with developmental disabilities while volunteering at Shriners Hospitals for Children. I completed my 600-hour Child Life internship at University Hospital in San Antonio, TX in 2019 and went on to work as a CCLS in a variety of units, including emergency, oncology, imaging, and intensive care. When COVID shifted the healthcare landscape, I transitioned into play-based ABA therapy, where I have now worked for 4 years. My path has taken me from student analyst to Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst, and ultimately to earning my BCBA credential in 2024. Altogether, I bring 3 years of experience as a Certified Child Life Specialist and 4 years in ABA, blending developmental, play-based, and behavioral approaches to create meaningful resources for children, families, and professionals.
