This is a hyperdoc built for the Google suite. This is an introductory lesson on finding the area of a square or rectangle. Within the document you will use Google drawings to tile squares and rectangles and to find the area. There is a video to watch that will introduce the formula for area as well as more practice problems and word problems. Students will be working in partners as well as independently to explore this concept.

Teaching style
I absolutely love playing games! And so do students. I have a passion for gamifying the online classroom. Games allow students to learn and practice what they have been taught in a fun way! Students are more engaged, willing to participate and will want to come back for more when there are games involved!
