About the store
As a Pre-Med Student at Chapman University, I received a Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in Molecular Biology. As I interned, I realized that my heart was not in the medical profession, but rather in teaching. I enrolled in the a teaching credential program at Cal State and excitedly received my Multiple Subject Matter with authorizations to teach Math & Science. I was hired to teach Math & Science at an incredible middle school, where I quickly took on the role of ASB advisor as well. With experience teaching at the Elementary level as well, I'm honored to represent many levels of education and have such a passion for learning!

Quick Review: Rules/Methods of Adding, Subtracting, Mult. & Dividing Integers
Every year I spend COUNTLESS WEEKS establishing the basics of integer computation. We learn how to add, subtract, multiply and divide negative and positive whole numbers. We do so with number lines, integer chips, mental math "rules," raps, chants, word clues - you name it. And we ace it!!!! So why can students never remember the basics when we start adding in negative fractions and decimals?
