I love using this resource in my own classroom, encouraging the kiddos to think critically and analytically on certain issues and then share their thoughts. I like to have the students pass it around the room while working on other assignments so that they are fully engaged throughout the discussion. I also ensure that students are reading AND responding to previous comments on the topic in order to receive full credit. These shouldn't be a total replacement for class dialogues and discussion

Help students track their reading, set goals, and get excited with monthly reading cover pages. Each month challenges students to think about their reading in a different way while tracking the books they've completed in a doodle-note style.
