Teaching style

At Therapy Toolbox, my teaching style is rooted in compassion, connection, and creativity. I prioritize play-based and child-led instruction, always following the learner’s interests to build authentic engagement and trust. I believe in meeting each child exactly where they are, creating a safe and joyful space where learning happens naturally through meaningful, everyday interactions. Unlike traditional, rigid models of ABA, my approach is flexible, respectful, and neurodiversity-affirming. Every resource I create is designed to empower kids, support autonomy, and celebrate each learner’s unique strengths. By blending evidence-based strategies with a heart-centered mindset, I aim to promote real-world skill development and positive behavior change in a way that feels good for everyone involved—especially the child.
