Allow your students to discover composite figures with this hands on activity! Four composite figures are included. It is designed to allow students to construct the figures and find the area of each shape, before combining them back together for the composite figure.
You can print these ready to use posters for your classroom. I put mine in frames and place them on my student station. Great for middle school math classes!
I put together worksheets I use throughout STAAR Review. They use the I do, we do, you do, layout and are designed to work through as a class. A good way to quickly review a standard. I also use Kagan's rally coach a lot in my class, and apply that during the partner sections. Questions are mostly from previous STAAR tests. 7.3B, 7.4D, 7.11A, 7.9C, 7.6I
Veteran's Day Cards that we made for our student council to personalize letters for our staff members that have served. This was created for middle school students, but I believe they can be used across the board for all students. The pdf has 4 pages of the image so that you can print 2 or 4 to a page as an option.
I put this poster out every year for open houses, parent-teacher conferences, parent meetings, etc. I pair the sign with peppermints and the parents always appreciate the gesture.
