This is a fun craft to do around St. Patrick's Day! Give your students a pile of Froot Loops to sort and glue on their rainbow. When they're done, they will count and record how many they have of each color! Tip: The final step can be done in one of two ways, depending on age and comfort level. Students can count all Froot Loops on the page and write their total. Students can make an equation with the numbers they found for each color.

This is a larger project that students can work on for several days! First, explain what a quilt is with the help of pictures or physical examples. Next, have students create their own quilt by decorating each square with a different style or medium. The end result will be a collage of mini masterpieces!
I used this worksheet as an excuse to have my students practice their scissor skills. After we reviewed the look and sound of the letter V, students cut thin strips of string and glued them onto their violin.
