TheTechExpects is an online shop on Teachers Pay Teachers that provides innovative, downloadable resources designed to support teachers in today’s tech-driven classrooms. From digital safety guides to interactive learning tools, our products help educators engage students, simplify instruction, and make the most of technology in education. Our background in education spans from experience in the Houston Independent School District to various charter schools across Texas, giving us a well-rounded perspective on the diverse needs of teachers and students.

While we are not classroom teachers ourselves, we bring extensive experience in supporting educators, administrators, and students by developing, implementing, and maintaining classroom technology.

Our founder played a key role in implementing the Verizon Innovative Learning Schools initiative at a former middle school, delivering a true 1:1 experience by equipping each student with a CTL Chromebook featuring built-in LTE connectivity. In addition, he developed internal ticketing systems that enabled teachers to submit tech support requests efficiently, ensuring timely and effective service.

With a strong foundation in IT and cybersecurity, I bring over a decade of experience supporting educational institutions across Texas. My career spans roles in the Houston Independent School District, charter schools, and Klein ISD, where I have led classroom technology implementations, managed IT infrastructures, and delivered hands-on technical support. I’ve contributed to impactful programs such as the Verizon Innovative Learning Schools initiative and developed systems to streamline tech support and enhance student engagement. Although not a classroom teacher, my work has consistently focused on empowering educators and students through reliable, innovative, and secure technology solutions.
