In this project students will graph 16 absolute value functions, describe the transformations from the parent function, and identify the vertex. Then students will fill in with water color. The final product will create a stained glass image. This is an arts integration project. This product correlates with Algebra 1 Envision math 10-7. These guided notes review how to find the inverse function. I also have an instructional video on youtube to go along with this lesson. This is an Algebra 1 lesson in my book, but can also be used for Algebra 2. An answer key to the guided notes is included.
