About the store

Experience

I was an elementary school teacher for 9 years before making the decision to stay home with my own children. In 2017 I opened up my own in-home preschool program and I'm still loving it to this day! I make resources for primary students from Pre-K to 1st Grade.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Award from district superintendent for outstanding scores on Math TCAP 2012.

My own education history

I attended Mesa State College in Grand Junction, Colorado, where I earned my B.A. in Counseling Psychology. After graduating, I went back through one more year and completed the PBA one-year licensure program to obtain my teaching license.

Additional biographical information

I was a public school teacher for 9 years. After bringing baby #2 home from the hospital in 2013, I made the decision to put my teaching career on hold to stay at home and care for my children. After a year, I decided that I missed teaching, but loved being home with my own kids. So I opened up a preschool out of my home in 2015. My own two children are not in 3rd and 5th grade, but I loved teaching preschool so much that I opted to continue my in-home preschool rather than going back into a classroom.
