Montessori derived three part cards for common words from the lunchroom to reinforce sorting for composting and recycling programs. Use as a sorting activity by having the cards organized into which bin the item would be placed after lunch. Print these cards two sided to have the child independently correct answers once sorted. Blue - recycling; green - compost; grey - landfill.
