Thinking in Third Grade

Students will practice their multiplication story problems by reading Christmas themed problems. There are 12 problems. Students may use repeated addition, or use their multiplication skills to answer each problem. There is a template for students to show their work on as they complete each story problem.

Here are a few printables that you can use during Valentine's time to review math skills. One printable is matching hearts by reading numbers in written form and standard form. The second printable is a heart coloring by odd and even numbers. The third page is matching hearts by their value. There are hearts with 3 digit numbers in them. There is a digit underlined. The student needs to find the heart that has the same value of that underline digit.

Students can sort pumpkins by odd or even numbers. There is a paper where students can glue their pumpkins on based on if it's odd or even. There is also a pumpkin coloring page where students will color pumpkins by odd or even.
