After trying to teach my students to compare two texts for Common Core writing, I created this classroom activity using our McGraw Hill Wonders reading series. This resource uses the stories that we read in Unit 4. I based the writing on the essential question for the week. Each week includes a venn diagram, writing work page, and a final publish page. As the year goes on, we can expand the activity to include more writing, but for now this is all my students were ready for!. However, this set o
