I have been a high school teacher for over eight years, and I have taught SO many different classes, including English 9, honors English 9, English 10, honors English 10, English 11, English 12, AP Language and Composition, AP Seminar, AP US History, AP Psychology, AP Seminar, AP research, and AP Government. My focus is critical thinking and developing not only writing and reading skills, but also a deep sense of empathy and multiple perspectives.
I have six degrees, including a B.S. in Psychology, a M.A. in Education, a M.A. in English, two EdS degrees, and a PhD in Curriculum. I love using my experience and passions to make teachers' jobs just a little bit easier!

AP Seminar Argument Analysis
Argument analysis is one of the most important skills for students to master in AP Seminar. This handout can be used with ANY article, allowing students to fully learn how to analyze an author's argument for purpose, line of reasoning, and quality of evidence, and it prompts students to starting making evaluations on arguments. AP Seminar OPTIC Image Argument Analysis
Analyzing images, graphs, and charts are necessary for students in AP Seminar, especially in Performance Task 2 (PT2) and End of Course Exam Part B (EOCB).
