Experience

ThinkSeeds educator, Ms. Dani, has worn many educator hats over the last two decades. She has guided 4th graders through fractions, sparked high school discussions about the Russian Revolution, and even practiced diphthongs at kitchen tables. Across every setting, she brings a wide range of teaching experience and a gift for breaking big ideas into bite-sized, meaningful pieces. Throughout her career, Ms. Dani has taught reading, writing, math, social studies, and history, while also supporting English Language Learners across all grade levels. She has worked with mainstream students, students with special needs, gifted learners, and multilingual learners, always grounding her resources in strong teaching pedagogy, practical classroom experience, and a belief that students are capable of deep, thoughtful learning. While her experience spans pre-K through 12th grade, her heart lives in the K–2 classroom, where curiosity blooms and the foundations for lifelong learning take root.

Teaching style

Ms. Dani’s teaching style blends structure with imagination. She uses Common Core standards as a guide and foundation for the materials she creates, so each resource is rooted in clear objectives, intentional skill progression, and meaningful practice. Her goal is never just to help students find the right answer, but to help them understand the thinking behind the answers. She believes young learners thrive when lessons are thoughtfully scaffolded, visually engaging, and connected to the real world. Ms. Dani loves using simple visuals, playful examples, and just the right amount of humor to make concepts feel less intimidating and more memorable. Whether students are building a math strategy, responding to a story, or stretching their thinking in a new direction, her resources are designed to make learning feel approachable, purposeful, and thought-provoking. At the heart of her work is a simple belief: Little minds are capable of big thinking when they’re given the right tools, encouragement, and room to grow.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Ms. Dani doesn’t keep a trophy shelf, but she has been honored with recognition for her work in the classroom and beyond, including awards for excellence in teaching, literacy leadership, and student growth. Still, some of her proudest moments aren’t framed. They’re the little learning sparks: Watching a reluctant reader devour their first chapter book, coaching a student through a speech they thought they couldn’t give, or hearing “I finally get it!” after a tough math lesson. For Ms. Dani, every win (whether formal, quiet, or classroom-small) is a reminder that little minds are capable of big growth when they’re given the right support.

My own education history

Ms. Dani’s own educational journey began with language, movement, and change. Born on a military base in Texas, and surrounded by both English and Spanish language, she later moved to Panama where she attended a bilingual school and spent her days switching between the two languages. When she moved back to the United States as a prteen, she experienced culture shock and confusion as language, learning, and classroom expectations suddenly felt different. For a while, she felt like she was trying to catch up, translate, or decode what everyone else seemed to innately understand. Those early experiences planted the seeds for the way Ms. Dani teaches today: With curiosity, care, and a belief that little minds are capable of big thinking. They taught her how powerful it can be to break big ideas into smaller steps, spark engagement, and check for true understanding, not just surface-level recall. Ms. Dani holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on History and Language Arts, a Math Generalist certification, and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership. She is also trained in TESOL and brings a multilingual, multicultural perspective into the resources she creates, especially when supporting learners who don’t always follow a traditional path.

Additional biographical information

Alongside her love for teaching, Ms. Dani has a passion for clean, intentional design. She creates resources that are visually focused, practical, and easy to use in real classrooms. Her materials are designed with clarity in mind, using simple layouts, purposeful visuals, and plenty of white space so students can focus on the thinking, not fight through clutter. Ms. Dani is especially passionate about differentiation. Many of her resources include tiered options to support a range of learners, giving teachers flexible ways to meet students where they are without needing to recreate the wheel. Whether a student needs a simpler entry point, a little more support, or a deeper thinking challenge, her goal is to make learning feel accessible, purposeful, and appropriately challenging. She is also passionate about developing assessments that measure true comprehension, not just memory. Many of her question sets are built with Bloom’s Taxonomy in mind, helping students think across multiple levels, from basic recall to deeper analysis and synthesis. Whether she is crafting a worksheet, designing an assessment, or building a full unit, Ms. Dani believes every question, visual, and page can become a learning opportunity when it is created with intention.
