LOVE Strategy Math Mat (For any math problem or grade)

Created by
Third-A-Palooza
This math mat is meant to be copied and laminated or put into a sheet protector to be used as a wipe and write. You can use this strategy and mat as an informal assessment tool to judge which students are able to explain their thinking in words, an equation, and with a visual. Students will also learn to label their work. I have included a patterned chevron print or plain black and white version. I am using in third grade several times a week and students keep the mat in their desk ready for us
