When teaching my Geometry unit to my 3rd graders, I found that my curriculum was lacking so I took it upon myself to enhance my programing. This slide show gives students direct instruction on Quadrilaterals and has practice embedded throughout the presentation. There are also slides that review previously taught vocabulary (parallel lines, perpendicular lines, and right angle). Slides from: slidesmania.com

There are two separate worksheets included in this product. One worksheet asks students to color the different shapes to identify them as parallelograms or trapezoids. The other worksheet is a sort of parallelograms and trapezoids.

This worksheet asks students to identify right angles in shapes and label other angles correctly.
