There are always two different edits of each version - one with a space for students to list their words and one with just the Tic-Tac-Toe board. This spelling menu board can be used for homework and word work stations. Options on the board include but are not limited to: typing words, drawing words in pictures, writing words in songs and stories, writing words in multiple ways, and creating a crossword puzzle.
I use this template with my reading groups to hold me accountable as a teacher. It also keeps me organized when I meet with the students.
