Third Grade Math Thinkers

This is an updated copy of the McGraw-Hill Chapter 1 test for third grade. This includes the vocabulary test and the comprehension test. The skills assessed in the test are: place value expanded form standard form ordering numbers comparing numbers rounding to the nearest ten rounding to the nearest hundred I also attached a study guide to use to review vocabulary and skills before the assessment. I use this page as a number sense activity to reinforce place value with my students. I put a number on the board and the students work in small groups and discuss. This could also be used in a Math center as well. I included two copies on each page so it can be cut in half.
