This is an updated copy of the Check My Progress page from McGraw-Hill My Math curriculum to be completed after Lessons 1-3. This assessment asses place value, comparing numbers and ordering numbers. Flash cards fro 2-12 to help students study. There is also a place for you to write a date down when the students will be tested. These can be used in a center, study guide or practice.

I used this graphic organizer as a pre-write to help my students create a writing assignment explaining the steps they used to round a number.

I use this page as a number sense activity to reinforce place value with my students. I put a number on the board and the students work in small groups and discuss. This could also be used in a Math center as well. I included two copies on each page so it can be cut in half.
