This 26 slide presentation helps students to identify and understand theme. Students are provided with summaries of: David Goes to School, The Tortoise and the Hare, The Ugly Duckling and The Boy Who Cried Wolf. Following each summary the teacher can guide students how to identify the theme.

Students are given a description of each and 12 slides containing a set of words to practice identifying whether they are synonyms or antonyms. 11 slides contain a cloze activity were students will be asked to identify the synonym or antonym for highlighted word. This product is set up so the user can type in digits of choice for student friendly flashcards.Cards are already formatted in Excel for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division so they can easily be changed depending on student needs. Each operation consists of 18 flashcards.
