I introduce this classroom promise at the beginning of the school year. It gives the students something to be proud of and think about before the day starts. We say it everyday for the first couple of weeks. After that, I pull it out when necessary depending on how behavior is going in my room. It works well with my students, giving them something positive for their day is a great motivator!
