About the store
I am a teacher in Burbank, CA. I have worked with Title I, SDAIE, ELD, and other "at-risk" students, as well as Gifted and general education students. As a former middle school teacher, I have a good idea of how to provide rigorous, next generation learning materials for younger students.

Thank you for purchasing this product. This back to school math activity is perfect for the beginning of the year. You will get to know your students better as they describe themselves using numbers. The banners would make a cute classroom bulletin board for the first weeks of school or an open house display. Includes a color template you can use for instant decoration or a black and white template your students can color. It is set to "banner size" (11x17), but simply resize it to fit your pap

Experience

I am a teacher in Burbank, CA. I have worked with Title I, SDAIE, ELD, and other "at-risk" students, as well as Gifted and general education students. As a former middle school teacher, I have a good idea of how to provide rigorous, next generation learning materials for younger students.

Teaching style

I have had a lot of success by teaching students using things they know and love. I feel that my teaching is very student-centered. I use a variety of techniques in my classroom that have really helped me reach my students where they are. Above all, I love to have fun and I think that shows in everything I do as a teacher.

My own education history

I attended the University of California, Davis where I graduated with Highest Honors in English. My minor was history. I currently hold a Single Subject credential in English and a Multiple Subject credential as well. I attended Cal State Long Beach for my teaching credential, but since I am a lifelong learner, I expect to continue my education.
