Welcome to my Teachers Pay Teachers store! As you can see I am a proud Canadian Elementary Teacher, and a University of Alberta graduate with a minor in Special Education and a love for Physical Education. I began teaching in 2011 in a K-4 school setting where I taught Physical Education, Art and Early Literacy Intervention. I love my job and consider myself very lucky to because I get a chance to teach and shape the minds of all my new little loves each year!

Teaching style

My learning goals for my classroom allow each student to take not only useful factual information away from my class, but also to learn life skills as well. As a teacher, I am a role model to many, if not all, of my students. I must teach my students how to behave, how to act, how to handle conflicts, how to read and write, and most importantly how to develop lasting relationships with new friends. I want to teach to help educate children and make a difference in their lives. From my past teaching and coaching experiences I know that there is no better feeling in the world than the feeling you get from positively influencing a child. Just getting that feeling at the end of each school day reminds us that it is such a rewarding job watching your students grow, develop and progress. As I said before, in my opinion the best feeling in the world is the feeling you get after knowing that you have made a life-long lasting impression on a child. This is why I chose to become part of what I believe to be the best profession; an elementary school teacher!
