Analytical Geometry: Quadrilaterals and Triangles using Length and Slope
Students pick a card that has a series of co-ordinates on one side and the shape these co-ordinates creates on the other. They they use the blank worksheets to graph the points. The worksheets act as graphic organizers so that students can structure the process in determining what shape it is using the length of the segments between the points and the slopes. Full solutions are provided for all the shape types.
Shapes are
Graphic Organizers for analytical geometry. There are so many little steps to finding:
1. Altitudes
2. Right bisectors
3. Medians
4. Distance to a line
5. Properties of a polygon
These graphic organizers will help the student layout the steps in a clear manner for all 5 of these types of geometrical properties and problems.
