In the state of Oklahoma the TLE is used to evaluate teachers. I have created a PowerPoint to help teachers confer with principals and show off artifacts which prove their score on the rubric. I am in the middle of adding my artifacts in order to have my evaluation conference with my principal. She usually scores me about where I would score myself, but on occasion I just want to show what I'm capable of in case she forgets!
Ready to Learn? We've got an app for that! Hi, it's Virginia Ayers again with a bulletin board that excited and captivated my 5th/6th graders. We became 1:1 with iPads this year and I was all about announcing it to the kids in several clever ways. After making the iPad Bulletin board, a coworker suggested that I use the "screen area" to post anchor charts or store bought charts about content. The download is in PDF format!
Hi! I'm Virginia Ayers, the Thotful Teacher. I am an early childhood teacher by degree (notice the Winnie the Pooh spelling of thoughtful) but now working with older elementary students. This is a PowerPoint that I used with parents on back to school night to introduce myself and my expectations. I also a version of it with students on the first day of school.
