Experience

I am an early childhood educator with experience in Pre-K classrooms and curriculum development. My work is rooted in hands-on learning, observation, and reflection, with a strong focus on supporting the whole child through meaningful, play-based experiences.

Teaching style

My teaching style is intentional, child-led, and relationship-driven, inspired by Reggio Emilia principles. I believe learning happens best when children are given time, space, and thoughtfully chosen materials to explore. I value observation, documentation, and following children’s interests to guide meaningful learning experiences.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I have been recognized for my dedication to curriculum development and reflective teaching practices, including being named National Teacher of the Year in 2024. My proudest moments come from creating environments where children feel safe to explore, question, and grow, and from collaborating with other educators to support thoughtful, intentional classroom experiences.
