Her time teaching with the U.S. Peace Corps in the developing world was a transformative experience that showed her the importance of global mindedness and the value of equity and access in education. She is currently an International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) Coordinator at an independent school in California. Teaching style
Jillian values concept-driven curriculum, inquiry-based learning, and transdisciplinary unit design that emphasizes global-mindedness and embraces students’ natural curiosities.
