Help students learn how to use comparison terms: shorter, longer, taller, with this fun activity. Students have a partner measure their height using a piece of yarn, while lying on the floor. With the cut piece of yarn students explore the classroom and compare their yarn/height with objects in the room. When they are finished, they can glue down their yarn on the second page to estimate their actual height.
