Here are two worksheets to help students practice and improve their dictionary skills! Included is a worksheet labeling a dictionary entry. Students could complete this to see what they know already about the parts of a dictionary entry, or have it in their INB as a resource. This is a half sheet, so it could easily fit in an INB. Use this log to keep track of student progress AND practice their questioning skills.
Included in this is a SSR log and 9 task cards. Print them on colored paper and put them on a binder ring. Once students are finished silently reading, have them fill out their log and answer one question. Next time students read, have them answer a different question. Put it in their INB to keep it all in one place :)
