About the store
I have been teaching High School Math for 4 years and I have enjoyed each one. For me, the true reward as an educator is having the ability to use your knowledge in order to help build that of another. To be able to change a student's mindset of a subject from "fear" to "excitement" is a reward that can't be topped. In addition to teaching, I am also on the lecture circuit where I host the "Surviving Your 1st Year" workshop for educators based on my book "This Too Shall Pass: An Educator's 36 Commandments For Surviving Their 1st Year."

Experience

I have been teaching High School Math for 4 years and I have enjoyed each one. For me, the true reward as an educator is having the ability to use your knowledge in order to help build that of another. To be able to change a student's mindset of a subject from "fear" to "excitement" is a reward that can't be topped. In addition to teaching, I am also on the lecture circuit where I host the "Surviving Your 1st Year" workshop for educators based on my book "This Too Shall Pass: An Educator's 36 Commandments For Surviving Their 1st Year."

Teaching style

I believe that students learn best when they are actively involved in what it is that they are learning. I also feel that students learn best when they are able to understand the significance of the content outside of the classroom.
