This is a survey of various science misconceptions that students can take and then see what misconceptions they have about science. I use it as an introduction to the nature of science and scientific methods chapter.
This is a general rubric that I use for students when they are assigned to design a game or puzzle for a class assignment. It includes a section for exchanging their game/puzzle with other students and obtaining feedback from them as part of the overall rubric score. I divide this into commendations/recommendations where students are tiered into three levels or phases and must provide at least as many commendations/recommendations as their "phase". I emphasize that these must be CONSTRUCTIVE
This is a 100 point Scientific Investigation Rubric for students working on their own individual scientific investigations. I use it for many of my open-ended inquiry-based activities.
