This fun lesson uses shopping at a clothing store to teach addition and subtraction of money, compare using greater than, less than, and equal to. It is based on the 'Thrift Shop' by Macklemore song. I have various experiences in teaching middle school ages and up.

I like to allow students to explore ideas on their own and develop them. I also believe that students learn by doing and so I create activities that I think they will enjoy as well as learn from.
