This informational brochure was created for parents and passed out at our annual Title 1 parent meeting as well as open house and curriculum night. It provides a basic overview and explanation of what Title 1 is and how the funding is used to benefit students. Our building currently has school-wide Title 1 status. You should be able to print back to back and fold the brochure in half. It is editable so that you can include your schools information as well.
You will find everything needed to properly document, educate and inform all who are involved in your buildings Title 1 program. Included within this bundle are informational handouts about Title 1, documentation forms for tracking students, notifications for parents, and a progress report. Included are 5 parent newsletters I sent home monthly with my Title I students. I included updates and information about intervention services, as well as parent tips and videos to help support learning at home. Each newsletter is editable, so you can use these as a guide to help you organize your information, or simply leave my information and tweak as necessary!
Use this form to document interventions that were provided through differentiated instruction to struggling students. You can indicate how your instruction was taught/modified, how often the student received the intervention, and how much progress was made. This can be used by classroom teachers or any other teacher providing tier 2 intervention to students including Title 1.
Insert the name of your school at the top of the form and edit as needed.
Included with this bundle is a student, classroom teacher, and parent survey that you can use yearly. They are editable so that you can include your school's name as well as the current school year. These surveys will play an important roll in working towards your goals stated within the buildings school improvement plan. Having input from all stakeholders is a must and these will help you easily achieve that!
I send this notice home to parents once a student has made adequate growth and can be released from Title 1 intervention. I always make sure to include current data so that parents can see the growth that has been made by their child. The form is editable so that you can include your schools information and edit the chart as needed.
This form will help to provide clear documentation when providing up to 8 weeks of intervention for students. Record the number of correct responses weekly based on your own timed assessments to closely monitor progress being made.
Use this bulletin board display to promote a positive learning environment within your classroom! It can also be used as a daily reminder of student expectations and help build a community of learners. There are 15 sayings that include "We do Friendships" "We do Sharing" We do Real" We do Mistakes" and so on.
I use this parental consent form once a student has been identified as needing Title 1 intervention services. It is important to keep an open line of communication with parents prior to beginning any services. I included a disclaimer at the bottom indicating that if the form is not returned (which unfortunately is a problem at my building), that students will be served right away. The form is editable so that you can include your schools information.
