About the store

Experience

As a certified Montessori educator with over a decade of experience, I specialize in creating developmentally appropriate, child-centered learning experiences. My work bridges traditional Montessori principles with bilingual and faith-based content to meet the needs of diverse learners. I've guided children through foundational literacy, Quranic studies, and practical life skills using hands-on, meaningful activities grounded in respect and independence.

Teaching style

Facilitator I believe in guiding rather than instructing—observing the child, following their interests, and preparing an environment that supports natural discovery. My approach is rooted in the Montessori method: nurturing autonomy, modeling grace and courtesy, and scaffolding deeper understanding through purposeful materials and real-life connections.

Awards & shining teacher moments

One of my proudest moments has been bringing Montessori-inspired teaching to life in a local masjid. Guiding young children through hands-on, spiritually rich lessons in a sacred space reaffirmed my belief that Montessori education naturally aligns with Islamic values. Watching children engage deeply with Qur'anic content—moving, building, and reflecting—was a testament to the power of prepared environments rooted in both faith and developmental understanding.

My own education history

• Certified Montessori Teacher – Primary (ages 3–6), MACTE accredited • AMS Certified – Elementary I & II (ages 6–12) • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing • Ongoing professional development in Quranic Studies, Bilingual education, and Montessori pedagogy

Additional biographical information

I lived in Saudi Arabia for five years, an experience that deepened my connection to the Arabic language and Islamic tradition. This time abroad enriched my understanding of cultural context, Quranic recitation, and authentic Islamic learning environments. I bring that global perspective into every aspect of my Montessori-inspired work, blending traditional knowledge with modern educational practices that serve both the heart and mind.
