I am passionate about literacy and humanities, and creating integrated units of work that draw on both of these passions. I enjoy creating resources that are easy to follow and implement, allow for minimal prep but maximum engagement. I use a balance of explicit and inquiry teaching and learning, and design lessons that allow for a gradual release of responsibility, with guided practice leading to mastery and independent application and success. My activities reflect this, and include opportunities for collaborative learning and self-assessment. I am always learning and look forward to continuing my learning journey with others in 2025.
