These cards are designed to promote discussion and collaboration in your classroom. Played like a popular card game, there are 4 cards prompting students to follow-up, summarize, piggyback, and clarify, and one wild card for team members to redirect their peers back on task. I have used these cards in my math class to increase the level of our discourse. The students enjoyed the game aspect and it has led to many lively discussions! Fully editable and ready for double-sided printing!

Using this tool students reflect prior to an outcomes-based grade conference with their teacher. In this way, students are prepared to discuss their strengths and struggles, and in concert with their teacher, they will plan next steps.
