Teaching style

I’m a teacher who embraces a clean, minimalistic style—both in my classroom and in the resources I create. I truly believe that less is often more, allowing students (and teachers!) to focus on what matters most without unnecessary distractions.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Over the years, I’ve been honored to receive numerous small awards and recognitions, and I’ve eagerly attended countless professional development courses—so many, in fact, that I’ve even had the privilege of leading a few myself! I have a true passion for lifelong learning and strive each year to become even more involved in my school community. Building meaningful connections with my students and their families is at the heart of my work, and it’s one of the aspects of teaching I cherish most.

My own education history

My educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, and I recently completed a Gifted Education certification program to better support all learners. These experiences have only deepened my commitment to creating resources that are rigorous, accessible, and visually appealing—because I truly believe learning should be as joyful as it is meaningful.

Additional biographical information

I’m originally from Chicago—a city I absolutely love—but my curiosity and sense of adventure often have me exploring new places whenever I can. Traveling is one of my greatest joys, and my goal is to keep learning more about the world, one trip (or book!) at a time. As much as I adore reading stories aloud to my students every day, I’ve been working on rediscovering the joy of reading just for myself in my free time. When I’m not teaching or creating new classroom resources, you’ll usually find me spending quality time with my wonderful family and friends, soaking up those everyday moments that matter most. I’m deeply passionate about education and truly believe that to keep that passion alive, it’s essential to always be learning, growing, and striving to be just a little better—and maybe a little more organized—than the day before. Whether it’s through professional development, crafting new content, or simply finding fresh ways to connect with my students, I’m committed to continually evolving as a teacher and a lifelong learner. Thanks so much for taking the time to get to know a little bit about me. I hope my resources bring ease, inspiration, and a spark of joy to your classroom!
