My teaching style is centered around creating an engaging, supportive, and structured classroom where students feel safe to take risks and grow. I blend hands-on learning with clear routines and high expectations, making lessons fun, purposeful, and accessible for every learner. I believe in building strong relationships, encouraging curiosity, and fostering a love of learning that lasts beyond the classroom.

I’m a 2nd grade teacher who loves creating fun, engaging classroom resources—a passion that started back in college. My teaching style is playful, structured, and hands-on, helping students feel confident, curious, and excited to learn. Along the way, I’ve celebrated some awards and shining teacher moments that remind me why I love this job so much!
My own education history
I fell in love with teaching while earning my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education at Arizona State University and later a Master’s in Science Teaching from Northern Arizona University. I’ve spent my entire career teaching in a Title I school, and I love it unconditionally—watching students grow, shine, and discover a love of learning is what drives me every day.
