Experience

Teaching style

I believe learning should be hands-on, purposeful, and fun. I strive to engage students with meaningful activities that support critical thinking, independence, and confidence. My teaching is strongly influenced by the Science of Reading, especially when it comes to building phonics and literacy skills in a structured and supportive way.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Some of my proudest moments in the classroom include watching struggling readers blossom using structured phonics instruction and seeing students take pride in sharing their learning with peers. I believe every student is capable of greatness with the right tools and encouragement!

My own education history

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and am committed to ongoing professional learning that helps me bring the best practices into my classroom—and into the resources I share here!

Additional biographical information

When I’m not in the classroom or creating for TPT, you’ll find me spending time with my family, traveling to new places, experimenting in the kitchen, or (let’s be honest) organizing classroom materials all over again. I'm passionate about supporting other teachers and making life just a little easier through practical, high-quality teaching tools.
