About the store

Experience

I have worked in Early Education for over 15 years, with most of that time spent teaching Transitional Kindergarten (TK). I also have experience supporting children on the autism spectrum and have a deep passion for play-based, developmentally appropriate learning.

Teaching style

My teaching is rooted in hands-on, joyful, and meaningful learning. I blend play-based approaches with purposeful academics, drawing inspiration from the Reggio Emilia philosophy. I love creating resources that support identity development, social-emotional learning, and classroom community building. My classroom is a space where creativity, confidence, and curiosity thrive!

Awards & shining teacher moments

Over the years, I’ve been honored to mentor new teachers, lead early childhood initiatives at my school, and present professional development focused on inclusive practices and project-based learning. One of my proudest moments was when my students created a full classroom airport from scratch—led entirely by their questions and ideas!

My own education history

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Child Development and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from the High Tech High Credentialing Program. I also have a certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), which informs my ability to differentiate for diverse learners.

Additional biographical information

I’m a mom of three and love spending time roller-skating, crafting, and playing board games with my kids. Outside the classroom, I run a small business focused on custom party favors and milestone kits for moms and children. I’m passionate about supporting other educators with ready-to-use, meaningful resources that bring joy and connection into the classroom.
