Area and Perimeter - Design your own house
Powerpoint instructions with two options.
Option 1
Students are allowed to design their own house on 1cm grid paper but must calculate the cost to build it. Costs are provided on ppt.
Option 2
Students must design the house based around specific measurements. E.g. bathroom must be 8cm squared. Allowing students to do a 2x4 or 8x1 room.
