About the store
From a family of educators, I personally have 11 years teaching experience in public, private, county, city, domestic and international schools and private tutoring for students ages 7 and up, including adults. My mom, who has taught almost all elementary grade levels, and I have collaborated on numerous activities and ideas. In my experience in high school, I realize those kids are little kids in big bodies! So many activities geared toward lower levels are also appropriate for ESL students of any age.

Hispanic Heritage Trivia Game PPT

Fun, interactive trivia game for students includes random questions about famous and influential Hispanics in history. Great way to introduce students to various contributions by the Hispanic culture. I like to split students into 2 teams, each with a team leader and whiteboard/marker. Both teams answer every question and reveal their answers at the same time; that way, both teams can earn a point on the same question! The team with the most points at the end is the winner.

Students will love this twist on the well-known GUESS WHO? Game for Hispanic Heritage Month! Assign new identities in secret. I like to punch holes in each photo card, attach string to create a necklace, and have kids wear them backwards. Another twist is to place the cards on the students' backs so they don't know their own identities! Kids talk to their classmates to figure out who in the world they are now! For upper level classes, differentiation, or for more of a challenge, "Spanish Only"
